Landscape Architects of Flesh

Video + poem / 04.:40’’
I disguise all percent of my body within sections of yours
I is me
and you is we
them together and entangled
us is creatures
single celled organisms, critters, enzymes
non linear family kin
we sense rather than see
purifying electron excretion
How to control them?
How to change them you may wonder
Synthetically speaking you can’t hear us because we don’t talk
we manipulate, animate, nourish and destroy
intestines open up
gut dwellers
the impenetrable walls of you skin aren’t so impenetrable after all
our viscose materiality
impregnates your fluidity
from your mouth, your spit, your tears and your come
The abyssal cave of your existence
trapped between the the divine and the bestial
tragically apocalyptic
inherently toxic
but we surpass that
Let not get tragic
From the wreckage of industrial civilisation
lively multispecies communities will emerge
Wilding beyond the limits of your ethics, hopes, dreams and schemes
Can you imagine the configuration of our bodies in your body?
A new body perhaps? not of one but many, not of self but of others?
I was a strain, then a transition, a pollinator.
As much as a vessel, an environment,
disrupting then eaten.
We are promiscuous symbiotic lovers
queer microbial companions
genetical modifiers
horizontal gene transferers
we take what we need
our self-contemplation is an experiment of transformation
our molecular crossings
unveil our topographies
you
come into focus
dividing your body into singular movements
independent
autonomous
an individualist you may say
progress obsessed
are you endless? infernal?
do you repair, revolt, resist or imagine ?
are you all over the place? viral perhaps?
or something else?
a thousand something else?
How many names do you have?
can you erupt? affiliate? descend?
buzz, sting or swarm?
I am compost
a GERMINATOR
I IMPREGNATE
MULCH AND POLLINATE
My feces fertilise your being
sowing your humaneness
I am ancient and ageless
the source that trembles when hearing you roar
we tell the future
heal the past
move the present
creeping and crawling
radiating shadows
high res invisibilities
